There has been an incredulous reaction on Twitter to the Camogie Board's ruling that a coin toss be used to determine if Dublin or Clare would progress to the All-Ireland camogie quarter-finals.

Both counties took the drastic action of withdrawing their names from this morning's controversial coin toss and demanded more respect from the Camogie Association.

And there has been plenty of support for their stance from their male counterparts in the GAA community...

This is mental!! A coin toss!! Why don't they do a best of 3 Rock Paper Scissor instead. @CamogieDublin @ClareCamogie
