Williams believe in Kilkenny girls

September 18, 2014

Manager Niall Williams is confident that there is still an All-Ireland in the Kilkenny senior camogie team.

Having watched his team beaten in agonising fashion in Sunday's All-Ireland final, the losing manager immediately backed his charges to bounce back:

"The skill and commitement are there among the players to do it," he notes in The Kilkenny People.

"Two All-Ireland defeats back to back is not easy for the girls to take. Your heart would go out to them. Look, Galway suffered two setbacks before they got their hands on the winners' trophy.

"I have no doubt that girls in our dressing room will win an All-Ireland. No one can put a year on it. We definitely have the standard and calibre of girls to do it."
