St Ibar's-Shelmalier have claimed the SE Systems Kilmacud Crokes All-Ireland Camogie Sevens title at Glenalbyn on Saturday evening.

In an all-Wexford decider, the Curracloe, Screen and Castlebridge outfit claimed a 5-5 to 3-8 win over 2006 champions Oulart the Ballagh.

Earlier, St. Ibar's-Shelmalier needed extra-time, before coming out with a 7-12 to 6-10 win over Rathnure in the semi-final, with Oulart the Ballagh claiming a more comfortable 7-12 to 1-6 win over Galway side Ardrahan to advance to the decider.

Alan Aherne's charges came out on top in a star-studded final, with Ibar's leading from the fifth minute and shading a 3-3 to 2-5 interval lead.

Michelle Murphy netted two first-half goals, while Kate Kelly claimed the other for the eventual winners.

Goals were key in the second half, as Kelly completed their hat-trick on the way to a three-point win, and a first ever victory in this competition.

Ursula Jacob, Shelley Kehoe and Shauna Sinnott bagged the Oulart goals.

Afterwards St. Ibar's-Shelmalier captain Mags Kelly accepted the cup from Camogie President Aileen Lawlor.

A last minute point from Susan Spillane created history in the SE Systems Plate Final, as Roscommon's St Dominic's claimed silverware with a 2-7 to 2-6 win over Tipperary's Portroe.

Shield honours went to Tyrone, as Eglish had a 2-5 to 2-3 over Waterford's Gaultier.
