This all Munster pairing is sure to be a thriller between two sides with plenty to prove. Limerick will hope their rearguard led by Michelle Casey at full-back and Sara Carey at centre can halt a lively Waterford forward line, spearheaded by Patricia Jackman and Niamh Rockett. Niamh Mulcahy at centre forward is key for the Treaty County and much will depend on her play-making and free-taking ability.

Kilkenny v Kildare, 3.30pm, Dr. Cullen Park, John Dolan
Kilkenny have blitzed through the round robin stages racking up impressive scores but also showing a mean defence. Aine Fahy at centre-back and Anna Farrell at centre-forward are key cogs in a well drilled Kilkenny outfit. The mercurial Susie O'Carroll is crucial for the Lilywhites as is Siobhan Hurley and Clodagh Flanagan. Kilkenny's overall balance should see them through.
