Feile Skills and Poc Fada
The Feile Skills and U14 & Senior Poc Fada competitions took place last Saturday morning. Well done to all the competitors and congratulations to Niamh McCarthy who emerged the winner of both the feile skills and u14 poc fada competitions and Denise Egan, winner of the Senior poc fada competition.

U14 Championship
The U14 Championships kicked off last Wednesday. The games switch to Monday evenings from this week.

U12 Blitz
Unfortunately the U12 county blitz scheduled for Robinstown last Saturday morning had to be cancelled as the pitch was waterlogged. This blitz and the one previously scheduled for Castlepollard will be refixed at a later date.

County Board Meeting
The May county board meeting took place on Tuesday last. Following a discussion on finances it was agreed to increase the summer levy from clubs to ?300.

There was an update of intercounty activities. The U16s were congratulated on the way they played in the Leinster final.

It is hoped to send two teams to the U14 blitz next weekend. Anyone who is interested and hasn't already done so should contact Laura Heffernan at [email protected] as soon as possible.

Votes of sympathy were passed in respect of the following families: McKeogh, Raharney; Glynn, Cloghan; Owens, Gaulmoylestown; Purcell, Mullingar; Coyne, Kinnegad.

The next meeting of the county board will take place on Tuesday 11thJune at 8pm.
