Trim Senior Camogie girls captured a first Leinster title

Trim traveled the long journey to Glenealy last Friday evening in pursuit of a first Leinster title for the club. They achieved their goal with a fantastic 6-13 to 0-4.

The Trim girls were superior in every sector of the pitch from start to finish. In a brilliant team performance Trim had many individual performance of note. The evergreen Christine Fagan top scored with 2-4, followed closely by the excellent county captain Edel Guy with 1-5. The goal machine that is Lynn Winters chipped in with 2-1 from play, Katie Hackett scored 0-2, Shone White the youngster in the team scored an excellent 1-1. Women of the match was shared by Annmarie Fagan and Katie Hackett.

This provincial victory will set the girls up for the forthcoming county championship.
