This week we saw matches for the U11s on Tuesday, the U16s on Wednesday, an Under 12 Blitz on Friday and the Senior League Rd 3 on Sunday. Well Done to everybody who played at any stage of the week and in particular to Karen who made her refereeing debut in the U12 Blitz! Coming up this week our U16s travel to play Carnew on Wednesday and our U15s travel to Kiltipper Rd in Tallaght to play local side Thomas Davis in the Dublin League on Thursday. On Saturday our Under 10s and Under 8s have their first Blitz. On Sunday 12th our U13s play St Finian's in Sutton and our U15s complete their Dublin League fixtures with a match in Clonee v Erin go Bragh. This U15 League has been very successful for us so far and with a bit of luck and a concentrated effort until the end, we have a strong chance of qualifying for the play-offs. Also on Sunday our U13s play St Finian's in Swords @ 10am. On Monday 13th, our Under 14s travel to Kiltegan to take on Kiltegan/Donard.
Training continues on Tuesdays in CCA from 6-7 for U12/11/10/9/8/7, from 7-8 for U14/13 and 7.30-8.30 for U16/15. We now offer an extra Training session on Saturday mornings for anybody who wishes to concentrate on a particular skill - 10-11.30 for U12/11/10 and for 11.30-12.30 for U14/13. New players always welcome in all groups.
Wednesday sees the start of the 'Introduction to Camogie' programme for Senior Infants and First Class girls. This takes place in Kilcoole Primary School, St Brigid's grass area from 4-5pm. This is a very exciting initiative and a great opportunity for the girls to experience the excitement and fun involved in this great team sport in a fun and safe environment. All equipment is provided and it's FREE!!! Why not come along and have a go???
