Green Isle kept up their unbeaten run in the Junior League by beating John Mitchells of Birmingham in Greenford. Green Isle dominated the game from the off despite the brave efforts of Noelle Devlin of John Mitchells who was being tightly marked by Suzanne White of Green Isle who were 4-3 to 1-2 up at half time.

Playing her last game for Green Isle, Geri Guinan was solid at full-back helped by goalkeeper Ann McGivern who made some fine saves. Sinead O'Halloran sent some long balls into the Green Isle forwards who were keeping John Mitchell's backs and goalkeeper Jane Sweetnam very busy with Eileen O'Boyle scoring 3 goals along with the help of Catriona O'Brien, Brianna McAdam & Laura Power who also contributed to Green Isle's winning score of 6-4 to 1-3 in what was a competitive and good-spirited league final.
