Derrygonnelly Harps manager Martin Greene has stepped down after three laden years in charge of the Fermanagh club.

The Harps won three senior championships in-a-row during Greene's reign and earned their first ever Ulster club SFC win over Armagh Harps at the quarter-final stage before going down to Cavan Gaels narrowly after a replay.

Greene also guided the club to two SFL Division 1 titles during his successful tenure.

"I took the job for the right reasons three years ago and I feel that it is the right time now to step down," Greene told The Impartial Reporter.

"I have had three great years as manager and I've really enjoyed the job and I just want to thank the players for all their efforts and I also want to thank the management team and the club for everything.

"There is a great squad and hopefully the next manager can go on and help them to go a step further."
