Roscommon can look forward to another trip to Croke Park later this month after they qualified for the inaugural All-Ireland U17 football final.

Liam Tully's charges will face Tyrone in the first part of a triple-header at GAA headquarters on August 27, which has the Dublin v Tyrone All-Ireland SFC semi-final as its top billing. In Ennis today, centre forward Paul Carey scored 1-6 as the Rossies recovered from the concession of an early goal to beat Kerry.

Michael Kelliher netted for the Kingdom from their first attack in the eighth minute, but the Connacht champions hit back with a Carey penalty four minutes later and went on to hold a slender 1-6 to 1-5 lead at the break.

With Carey and Ciaran Lawless in fine scoring form, Roscommon kept their noses in front throughout the second half before Peter Gillooly's late goal sealed their place in the decider.
