Kilmacud Crokes celebrated a first Dublin SHC triumph since 1985 at Cuala's expense in Parnell Park yesterday.

Two first half goals from Barry O'Rorke and Ryan O'Dwyer laid the foundations for their seven-point victory.

Crokes went in at the break leading by 2-3 to 0-4 but Cuala fought back in the second half and were just three points in arrears entering the final five minutes.

Jack Doughan settled Kilmacud's nerves with a long range point and they finished the strongest with six points to get their hands on the silverware.
