Four motions to be heard at Convention

December 07, 2016

The Wicklow GAA takes place this weekend with a number of motions to be discussed.

There are four motions to be debated during the course of the event, which will surely generate a decent debate amongst delegates.

The first motion centres around the age to be allowed to play adult hurling and football as it was sought that once a player turns 17 he will be eligible to line out at adult level.

Another motion is to cut out short kickouts by making it compulsory to kick the ball out past the 45 metre line.

Free ins less than 45 metres from the opposition goal must be taken off the ground is the third motion.

And the last one is for the black card to be abolished.
