The official opening of An Tochar GAA club's new dressingroom extension took place recently.

Coinciding with the club's juvenile awards presentation night, the even drew a large crowd.

There are now over 300 juvenile members in the club along with a ladies section and three adult teams.

The new dressingrooms will help alleviate the problem of space to facilitate the various teams.

An Tochar's Nick Nolan told the Wicklow People: "We now have two new dressingrooms and a gym at the club. It was a very good night, we had a good attendance."

Both the Department of Sport and Leinster Council gave funding for the project, while the club raised funds also.
