Football took centre stage this afternoon as we had quarter-finals and semi-finals down for decision in all four provinces.
Leinster was down to the last eight in the club SFC with the four quarter-finals being played this afternoon.
In Connacht, Ulster and Munster, we were at the penultimate stage of the club SFC.
On paper, we were set for some cracking matches in all provinces as clubs bid to prolong their season for another while and they didn't disappoint.
Also being decided this afternoon was the meeting of Ballyhaunis and Ahascragh-Fohenagh in the Connacht club IHC final replay.
