This year's Wicklow junior football 'A' championship looks set to be dragged out for some time.

The decision of the C.C.C to award a championship game to Barndarrig after Kilbride did not travel to the fixture last week.

The Kilbride club felt they were justified in not travelling and are thus expected to appeal the C.C.C's decision.

This could see the JFC put on hold as the quarterfinal stage has yet to be resolved.
