The intermediates got their championship off to a winning start last weekend with a 4-11 to 4-6 win over Stratford. After two quick fire goals from Stratford meant we were trailing 3-4 to 2-5 at the break, the lads to their credit upped the ante in the second with two good goals from Roan and Craig helping us on the way. Next up are neighbours Ballinacor on Friday evening at 7 in Arklow. There was no lotto jackpot winner last week. The numbers drawn were 1. 5. 12. 25 with Michael O' Keeffe and Margaret Doyle the only match three winners. Well done to all who organised and took part in the Lip Sync battles against Knockananna. A great night was had by all, made even better when Liam, Aine, Paula and Shauna won the cup on the night. Well done also to the juveniles and all who were up playing in Croke Park last week. Another super day and great experience had by all. Finally, practice for the Coole run onSept 3rd continues Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm from the pitch. All welcome.
