Jonny Magee felt Wicklow didn't do themselves justice in their All-Ireland SFC qualifier loss to neighbours Carlow on Saturday.

The 1-12 to 1-17 loss at Netwatch Cullen Park leaves the former Dublin centre back's future with the Garden County very much up in the air.

"I said to the lads in there now, they have to learn from it. There's no question but that we're better than what we showed there tonight, we showed that last year against Meath and this year against Laois," the Wicklow manager lamented in the Irish Daily Star.

"There's no question but that we're than we're better than what we showed there tonight, we showed that last year against Meath and this year against Laois.

"But we need to be consistent over the 70 minutes and today we just didn't play except for maybe five or 10 minutes in each half."
