Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney GAA Club Notes

April 18, 2016

The U8 and U10 Boys teams hosted their first home blitz on Saturday and welcomed Aughrim and Annacurra to Pearses Park. An excellent display of juvenile football was on show with all three teams sporting a very promising future of young footballers.  The U12 Boys played Newtown on Sunday and secured a well deserved win of 2-6 to 1-8.  The U14 girls (Division 1) played Tinahely and secured a great win of 3-6 to 1-1.  The U14 girls (Division 4) played a tough match against St. Pats, but showed great strength and teamwork in their newly formed team.  The U12 Girls played Blessington earlier in the week and had a successful victory of 3-6 to 1-6.  The U14 Girls will play Tinahely in the Feile semi-finals this week, with the winners of the match to play St. Pats. The U14 Boys will play against St. Pats and Bray for third place in the Feile.  Well done to Eugene Bently, Tom Maher, Cal Kelly, Ciaran O Shea, Cormac O Shea, Jack McCall, Cathal Kelleher, Darragh Fitzgerald, and Kyle O' Connor on their performance with the Wicklow Minor team in the Leinster Championship against Kildare.
