Preparations have begun around the town for the County Final which will take place on Sunday 11th October in Aughrim. Thank you to all who helped but bunting up around the town over the weekend. We look forward to seeing everyone get behind the team over the coming weeks.

St. Pat's will compete in this year's Junior A Hurling Championship County Final this Sunday, 4th October at 12:30pm in Aughrim. St. Pat's will battle it out against Kilcoole, everyone in the club wishes both players and management the very best of luck. Please come out and support the team in Aughrim on Sunday.

Our u8 and u10 footballers travelled to Gorey on Saturday morning to take part in a blitz. It was a great experience for all the players and was enjoyed by all.

The u7 and u8's were busy again this week at training, showing continuous improvements by all. This week's deserving winners for the coveted player of the week goes to U7 player Danny McCoy and U8 player Mathew Burke. Well done to both players, keep up the good work.

Our U14 boys took on An Tochar in the U14 B Championship County final in Ballinakill, Centre of Excellence, Rathdrum on Saturday evening. St. Pat's went into the break 1-02 - 03 in front however, An Tochar came out strong in the second half and won 2-13 to 1-08. Hard luck to player and management.

There was no winner in this week's club lotto draw of €5,100. Numbers drawn were 2, 10, 20 and 13. The bonus number was 18. There was one winner of the €250 prize, Ann Humby. Thanks to everyone who continues to buy and sell tickets each week.

Best wishes to Gary Duffy as he retires as schools coach from everyone at St. Pat's GAA and all the students Gary has coached over the years. Gary has been a great ambassador of St. Pat's, best of luck in your new venture.
