1. Next weekend  see's our Intermediate side take on Ballymanus in the Final of the Intermediate Championship. Manager Darren Ronan guided the team to the Div3 title last year and has gained promotion through the League this year.There is a nice blend of youth and experience within the team. Alot of these players will go on hopefully to win Senior Championships, some have pocket fulls of Senior medals while there's a few who should have!  Ballymanus will undoubtibly start as hot favourites, but Rathnew won't be there to make up the numbers. Trevor 'Cluxton' in goal is as good a free taker, 45 taker as there is around and can punish teams. So best of luck lads.

Rathnew GAA Club had over 60 Club Members in attendance at the 2015 All Ireland Ladies Finals in Croke Park . The girls had a great day out and everyone got to see some fantastic football played. The Cork fans among us were the happier though! Thanks to Tommy and Katrina for organizing things.

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Gavin Dunne who got wed in Antwerp last weekend. Friends and family made the trip to Belgium to see Gavin make an honest woman of  Cathy Wauters
