Wicklow under-21 manager Jonathan 'Bosco' O'Neill knows that they will have to be at their best to see off the challenge of Meath in the All-Ireland 'B' final.
The sides meet at Semple Stadium on Saturday evening and the Royals go into the match as slight favourites to take the title.
O'Neill has done it all as a player and he will certainly have his squad finely tuned for the biggest game of their young lives so far.
Speaking to the Wicklow People, O'Neill stressed that they are adamant in getting every detail in order ahead of the match to give the players the best chance possible.
"We need a performance," said Bosco. "I remember other Wicklow teams down through the years, playing in Thurles. I remember the Laois game. That was a bad result. That's a day I try to forget but it always gets brought back up.
"We've been sitting down over the last few days trying to get things right, down to the smallest detail."
