Hard luck to our U14 boys who were just pipped by Carnew in the Championship last week.Hopefully with a full panel Rathnew can still qualify for the next round.

The weather put pay to our Annual Fun Day with Powers Centra Rathnew last Sunday. We hope to arrange a new date ASAP as everyone was looking forward to it.

Last week we hosted the Kellog's Cul Camp  and it proved to be one of our most successful to date with numbers well up on other years. We'd like to thank Rathnew AFC for the use of their indoor pitch. We had a visit from Mairead Weymes from Croke Park who was very impressed by our facilities and by how our Cúl Camp was organised. Thanks to everyone who helped out especially all our coaches.

All roads lead to Aughrim next weekend as Rathnew face old rival's Baltiglass in the 1/4 final of the Senior Championship. Rathnew are steadily building momentum but need to be at their best to get past the men from the West. Best of luck to Declan Byrne's charges captained by Nicky Mernagh.

Anto now has pink Hoodies available for all our Ladies with the option of getting your name on it. Contact 085-7252430.

Congratulations to ex-senior footballer Thomas McDonald and Louise Ryder who tied the knot last weekend. We believe Thomas gave up a whole day's shooting and fishing so he could attend the ceremony.
