Junior Ladies
AGB Junior Ladies met St. Nicks in the Junior Championship semi-finals on Saturday the 22nd of August. St. Nick's started the strongest and this is what won them the game as, although AGB battled hard for the whole game, they could never claw back the deficit. Hard Luck Ladies. All the best in the final to St. Nick's.

U14 Girls
Best of luck to all our underage teams starting their Championship games this week. U14 Div1 girls begin at home to Baltinglass on Thursday, the 27th, in Pearse Park at 7pm.

U10 Girls
AGB U10 girls travelled to Tinahely on Saturday the 22nd for a blitz. With a full squad available, AGB entered 2 teams and both teams had 3 games. Some great performances by the girls who all enjoyed the day.

Intermediate Men
AGB Intermediate Men bounced back from their championship defeat when they overcame Kilmacanogue in a very competitive game in Pearse's Park on Tuesday the 18th. Kilmacanogue came in to this game unbeaten in the league and were looking to take the two points. However  it was the home side that gave a sterling performance and collected two valuable league points that puts them in third place on the league table. Scores: Ivan Hurley 0-2; Cormac O' Shea 1-1; Philip Healy 0-1; JP Hurley 1-0; Paidí Kelleher 0-1; Cal Kelly 0-1.

U10 Boys
The U10 boys played a challenge match against Kilanerin on Saturday the 15th and then had another great performance the following Wednesday evening against a strong Castletown team in Pearse Park. With quite a few lads on holiday AGB had one team while Castletown had 2. AGB won the first 2 fifteen minutes aside but were beaten on the third and final 15 minutes but only because the lads got tired - the 11 boys played 45 minutes in total. The coaches, parents and supporters are very proud of each and every one - Seosamh, Niall, Jack, Paul, Lukas, Paudi, Tiernan, Padraig, Adam, Sean and Rory.
