Ladies Notes:

U16 girls - Congratulations to the U16 girls on winning their league this week. Well done also  to those who took part in the Jimmy Barry Murphy 7 a side blitz in Tinahely on Sun 9 Aug. While they didn't  get to the cup final  the girls did qualify for the plaque final where they won.  A very exciting  match beating a very good St Pats  team by a point.

Juvenile Notes:

Go Games - U8/U10 Football Go Games in Baltinglass on Sat 15 Aug at 10am.

U12 - Away to Eire Og on Mon 10 Aug at 7.15pm.

U14 - The draw for the championship took place at the Coiste na nOg meeting which was held in Aughrim on Thurs 6 Aug. Blessington is in the B Div. There are 8 teams. Single round to commence on Wed 19 Aug with the remaining games on the 26 Aug and 2 Sep. Top 2 in the championship final and bottom 2 in the Shield. Blessington are in Group 2 with AGB, St Pat's (down from A Div) and Newtown. Round 1 - Blesso v Newtown, Round 2 - St Pat's v Blesso, Round 3 - Blesso v AGB.

U16 - The draw for the championship has been made. Blessington are in a group with Tinahely, St Nicholas, Michael Dwyers and Eire Og. The championship starts on Sat 5 Sep where Blesso are at home to Tinahely. Round 2 - 7 Sep, Round 3 - 14 Sep and Round 4 21 Sep. The focus is now getting the team back from the holiday period and ready for action.

Lotto: The Lotto jackpot of €12,000 on 16 Jun was not won on 28 Jul. Numbers drawn were 9,12,22,23. We had 4 matched 3 numbers each receiving €75. Next draw 11 Aug in Bealins. Jackpot €12,200.
