On Sunday evening our Senior Ladies had a challenge game against Carbury from Kildare. It was a challenging game but a great team performance overall, with the girls winning 1-14 to 1-7. They now face Tinahely on Friday in their last group game of the Championship. Come and support the girls in Tinahely, throw in at 7:30pm.

Our Senior Men's Captain, Daragh McEvoy, is taking part in The Professor Hollywood Memorial Cup St. James' Hospital V St. Luke's Hospital on August 8th in Parnell Park and is collecting sponsorship. If anyone would like to sponsor him you can message the club's Facebook page or contact a club member. Tickets for the game are €7 and U12's are free.

Juvenile

The club would like to welcome three new players to our girls U16 team; Mia Sheridan, Mel Clarke and Sadhbh Murphy. Good luck to each of them.

The U8 hurlers were back in action on Tuesday evening, training and working hard. The Hurlers of the Week were U8 Tom Phelan and U7 Jack O'Leary.

The U12 boys had a fun day out in Croke Park last Sunday were they watched two All Ireland Football Championships quarter final matches. A big thanks to their managers Dave Shannon and Paul O'Brien along with the parents who travelled with them to the games. Hopefully they will be in Croke Park again one day, but not as spectators.

It was a great week at the Hurling Cúl Camp in Dunbur. Thanks to all the coaches and a special thanks to Trina Keogh, Joanne and Amy Kavanagh and Patrice Evans for opening the tuck shop at lunch time. The Boy of the Camp was awarded to Rory Hennessy and the Girl of the Camp to Amy Jane Sillery, each brilliant hurlers.
