Ladies:

Junior ladies - The Juniors had two very good matches this week. First up was Kilbride on Tues evening and away to AGB on Sat evening.  Numbers travelling have been low 11 and 10 players for these matches mainly due to exams and some injuries but the girls that did travel were fantastic. Both games were more or less level on the score board at half time . In both games Blessington created more chances than the opposition  throughout the game and won the majority of kick outs. Kilbride and AGB were able to bring on fresh legs in the 2nd half of both games which made the difference. Team play , defence and attack play have all improved significantly over the last 3 games. A big thanks to Alison Young and Jennifer O'Brien who both travelled to Arklow at very short notice. Nobody could ask for any more from the girls as it's not easy for 11 players playing a full pitch for a full match against fresh legs. Best of luck to all the girls studying for exams.

U12 girls - Congratulations to Niamh Cullen, Sorcha Nolan, Orlaith Behan and Sarah Bohan on their selection to play on the U12 county team. The girls have their first blitz on Sat 6 Jun in Carlow.

Gaelic for Mothers & Others: Training Wed 6.45pm to 8pm. The ladies will be competing in a 5K run in the coming weeks to raise funds. Please support the G4M&) team. It's  great to have some new members join us over the last few weeks. A big welcome to Elaine Haughian, Siobhan Laffen and Sara Jane Lynch.. New members always welcome call Sinead 0862446510 or Kevin 0876123203 for info or just turn up at 7pm at training session.
