Teams win matches and that's what exactly happened in Rathnew last weekend when the intermediates chalked up their second win of the championship against An Tochar on a scoreline 1-9 to 1-7 thanks to an all round team performance. The lads lost a couple to injuries but others stepped into the breach and played their part. Well done to all. Hopefully they can carry on the momentum next weekend in the league against Avondale. There was no winner for the draw held Mon May 11th. The numbers drawn were 5. 6. 9. 20 with Patrick Byrne, Harry McElhinney, Nancy Lambert and Pat Simpson all match three winners.
