It was a very good week on the playing fields for both adult men's teams last week. Thursday saw the junior c team defeat Dunlavin in Division 4 of the league at home in Valleymount and then on Saturday the junior a team put up a great score on Shillelagh in the championship at Arklow.
There was a great turnout in Tulfarris afterwards on Saturday evening for the club dinner dance. Thanks to Tulfarris for the excellent food and service and to UPLOAD for providing the music. As well a the presentation of medals for the Ladies intermediate championship and the lads Hennessy cup win a number of individual awards were handed out on the nigh.  Ladies player of the year was Lizzie Brophy with Ellen Maguire taking the junior award while Shane Browne won the Junior A player of the year fof the men with Kiev Leonard winning the Junior C player of the year.
Next lotto draw takes place Saturday with the jackpot now standing at €6600. Plw have tickets back by 9pm Saturday or by midnight Friday if buying online.
