There are two senior football championship matches down for decision this Sunday afternoon.

Pearse Park, Arklow will host an attractive double header as neighbours Aughrim and Annacurra go head to head in the first game and this will be followed by the meeting of St Patrick's and Tinahely.

Bragging rights and much more are at stake in the first game as Aughrim look to build on a brilliant year last year, but their rivals will be keen to put a stop to that.

Last year's beaten finalists St Pat's will be hoping to get off to a winning start, but they face a tough test against Tinahely who will provide them with a stern test.
