St Patricks GAA club notes

Well done to our County hurlers who had a great win against Derry last weekend. The final score was Wicklow 0-12 Derry 1-08. Our St Patrick's player Andy O Brien scored 0-08 points and John Connors also played well. Well done to the  management team of Casey O Brien and Brian Gleeson.
    Our next big fundraiser for Feile promises to be a great evening. The St Patrick's/American tea party sets the scene and our theme is Irish/American. Bring all your own dishes and raise some funds for the club. The American tea party evening takes place on Saturday evening next 28th March at 8pm in our clubhouse. If you wish to host a table contact Mary Cahill on 087 1202755 or Liam Whitty on 086 0421189.The Maguire Traditional Music Band will provide the entertainment and tickets are on sale at €10 per person.
  Well done to Alan Lawlor, Veronica Leonard and Patrice Evans for organising our float in the St. Patrick's Day Parade and well done to Louis Carroll our no. Supporter for leading the club float.We won best Folklore Float and well done to everyone who helped with the float.
   Club memberships are now due and you may pay your membership by contacting our club Registrar Eddie Leonard. Please note that members who wish to have a vote at the annual AGM must have membership paid by March 31st.
  There is a Registration morning every Saturday morning in the clubhouse between 11 am and 1pm.
   Under 8 hurling training returns on Tuesday 24 th in Dunbur from 6:30pm until 7:30 pm for boys born in 2007 and 2008.The coaches are Alan Lawlor, James Phelan, David Delaney and John O Neill. Contact Alan on 086 2784498 for further details.
   Our "little Warriors" club takes place every Saturday morning between 11 am and 12 noon for boys and girls between the ages of 4-6 in both football and hurling. Our tuck shop is also open for parents to have a cup of tea or coffee.
