Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney GAA Club Notes

Sincere Sympathy

The death occurred recently of Charlie Gaule (Castlebridge/Arklow), a former player from the club.  He won two minor championships with the club and successfully trained another. He played for the county and he was also a member of the Garda team that won the All-Ireland Garda title for Wexford in 1983. To his wife and family we extend the sympathy of the club.

It was a rusty start overall with lots of score chances not taken but at the same time few scores conceded. The game ended in a draw, AGB 0-8 Ballinacor 1-5. Upcoming Fixture for Intermediate Men: AGB v St. Pats - Sat 28th March (Away)

Junior Ladies

AGB 2 hosted Clara ladies in the second round of the Combined Cup at Pearses' Park on Sunday March 15th 2015. This was a very entertaining game in which both sides worked hard for their respective sides. The second half belonged to the visiting side which put them ahead at the final whistle. Final score AGB2 2-7 Clara Ladies 3-10. Well done to all for a very enjoyable game of football.
