A large group of members have been working hard since October last on planning for the future of the club in a number of key areas including club structure, facilities, coaching, communications, recruitment and financial funding. We are launching our new Club Development Plan in the clubhouse at Dunbur Road this coming Friday next the 6th of October at 7:45pm sharp. We invite all members of the community to come to see the New Development Plan and to hear our vision. This is a very important meeting so it is imperative that you attend.
Please don't forget our rescheduled AGM takes place then the following Thursday the 12th of March at 8pm sharp. All club members are requested to attend this very important meeting.
We have included these notices in our Club Notes for the past two weeks so that any person interested has had plenty of notice. If you have any enquiries regarding these meetings please do not hesitate to contact our club chairman John Smith or indeed any members of the committee.
We will have National Go Games in our club on Wednesday 1st April and in other County venues. Our national Go Games week in County Wicklow is from Monday 30th March until Saturday 4th of April and it's for boys and girls under 10 years of age in both codes ie hurling and football. We will have more information on times and venues in the coming weeks.
Well done to Alan Lawlor, Veronica Leonard and Patrice Evans and the rest of the juvenile section for organising last weeks Juvenile Medal presentation evening. It was great to see the Liam Mc Carthy Cup and the Delaney cup in the club house for the presentation of medals to all the boys and girls. Our MC for the evening was Marty Morrissey from RTE.
