St. Patricks club notes

Our first club fundraiser for the Feile 2015 will be a Table Quiz evening which will take place in our clubhouse in Dunbur road on Saturday the 7th of March at 8pm. Each team will consist of four persons and the cost is €20 per team. we will be entering two teams in the Feile this year a boys and girls under 14 team.Preparations are well under way and if you would like to help out with the organisation of the event please contact Veronica Leonard at 085 1405847.
    On Sunday next our Senior Footballers take on Coolkenno  away to Coolkenno in the Campus Oil Division 1 football league. This will be Robert Hollingsworth's first game in charge as Senior football manager. We wish Robert and the team the very best for the coming year. Well done to Daragh McEvoy who has been chosen as the Senior football Captain for this year. Daragh is a great leader both on and off the pitch and we wish him the very best.
       Our Boys section will be back playing soon and all the coaches are getting ready for the new season. We are looking for new coaches and the club will help you to become a coach as there are various Foundation Level courses available for new coaches. This course is very easy and can be completed over a couple of hours.If you are interested in coaching an underage team please contact Paul O Brien at 087 9088779.
       Please don't forget our rescheduled AGM which takes place on Thursday March the 12th in our clubhouse at 8pm sharp.All club members are requested to attend this very important AGM.Important matters and decisions will be discussed at this AGM, so if you are genuinely interested in the future of your club it is imperative that you attend on Thursday the 12th of March at 8pm.
         Our current Club Lotto Jackpot stands at €5,500. There were no winners of last weeks Jackpot.There were two winners of the Match 3 sharing €250 and they were Pat Boyle Snr and T. Kearns.

Our boys juvenile Presentation takes place on Thursday next the 26th of February in the clubhouse at 7pm. Marty Morrissey from RTE will be the MC on the night and we hope to have some famous silverware on the night on view.All juvenile boys up to the age of under 16 inclusive are requested to attend the presentation.

A large group of club members have been working hard since October last on planning for the future in a number of key areas including club structure, facilities, coaching, communications, recruitment and funding. We are launching our new Club Development Plan in the clubhouse on Friday week next the 6th March at 7:45 pm. We invite all members of the community to come along to see the plan and to hear our vision for the future of St. Patrick's.Please contact our Chairman John Smith for further information.
