It's 2020 vision in Wicklow as the county is targeting a Leinster minor football championship inside the next six years.
At Coiste na nOg Convention in Aughrim last week, Wicklow Games manager Hugh Kenny revealed that the Garden County Academy is thriving in Ballinakill, with 250 players and 44 coaches on their books.
He outlined their ambitious goals going forward:
"Our target is to win a Leinster minor before 2020. While that may seem long-term from where we sit, it is an ambitious target.
"The long-term nature of our goal means that our actions and achievements will be similarly long-term, with much of the work around building the foundation for success."
