GCA Football Squad News
U13- Our U13 players will have their final session for 2014 on Saturday 1st November at 2pm in Ballinakill. All parents are asked to attend.The itinerary for the day is as follows:-
Players will train for a shorter time of approx.40 minutes followed by a review of the 2014 season & an outline of the 2015 season.
We will be giving feedback to parents on their child's performance during the year. We will have a number of guest speakers to talk to parents and the players on the day. As this is was the first year the County have run an U13 Academy squad, the feedback of parents and kids will be invaluable to improve how we do things in 2015. Refreshments will be served on the day.

U14 -
U14 continued training on sat with half the squad. The session was a progression from last week as we worked on support play and decision making. The hour and a half session was very intense and extremely well received.
Next Saturday sees the reintegration of the remainder of the squad post club activities

U16 -
A much improved performance from the U16s saw them draw against the County Minors on Saturday.
Gary Jameson has issued a new Strength & Conditioning programme and the players will be focussing on this aspect of their development over the coming weeks.
