Rathnew GAA Club wishes to ask for new Lotto ticket sellers/buyers. The Club is enjoying success but it takes alot of financing to get it where it is today. For continued success we need to up the sales of our Lotto. Thanks to our current sellers and buyers as every ticket sold is essential to the day to day running of the Club. Please contact any Committee member if you would like to help the Club out. Tickets available in books of 5's and 10's.

Hope to see all our supporters in Aughrim next Sunday as Rathnew take on Carlow's Rathvilly in the Leinster Championship 1st Rnd @ 2.30pm. The celebrating was tough but the lads managed to get through it all. We have a few injury concerns which will obviously alter our starting line up. But we have a strong squad and its a great opportunity for someone to make their mark on this years Championship. Best of luck to Declan and the lads.

Irish TV (Sky 191) was there to do capture the County Final. Thanks to Paul Harney he really captured the atmosphere of County Final Day.It was a great advertisement for Wicklow football with all the colour and noise from St. Patricks and Rathnew on display. It was a positive media view point and thanks to the County Board for having Aughrim in such fine condition. For anyone who missed last Sunday nights screening, check for repeats as it will be repeated time and again.

Our JunB's will be out on Monday 27th in Ashford @ 2.30pm against Avondale in the Schweppes Cup Final. Hope to see plenty of support for our lads as Asford isnt a million miles away.

Can all Managers/coaches please send a photo of their teams together with some details to [email protected]. Re: Yearbook.

Birthday wishes to Gary 'Rocky' Newsome who celebrated hes 21st with friends and family in Ernies. Also turning 21 was Launa Hill.

Congratulations to Richard Quinn who wed Gloria Pensé last week in Gorey.

Rathnew GAA Club wishes to extend its deepest sympathy to the Manley and Dowling families on the sad passing of Mairéad Manley R.I.P.
The two families have been heavily involved in Rathnew GAA down through the years. Her brother John Captained the '78 Senior Championship win. Brother in law Bobby Dignam is current Club Chairman. Sons Nigel and Stephen both played, managed and selected various underage and adult teams. With Nigel part of last weeks winning management team and Stephen having won Senior medals as a player.John Manley , Nigels son picked up man of the match last week also. Back in the day Dowlings Pub would have been a great supporter of the Club.  Our thoughts are with Mairéad's family at this sad time.

Gym membership available contact Clubhouse Manager Mr. Anto Doyle on 085-7252430.

Rathnew GAA Club wishes new Senior County Manager Johnny Magee and hes slectors the best of luck as they take up the reins for Wicklow.
