St Patricks club notes

We would like to congratulate Rathnew on winning the Senior Football Championship and to congratulate their captain James Stafford and all the players and to Deckie Byrne the teams manager and his team of mentors.
On Thursday next the 23rd of October at 7 pm sharp we have an Open Forum meeting in our Clubhouse to discuss the vision and future development of  our club.Members and non members of the club who have an interest in the future of St.Patricks GAA club are most welcome. This very important meeting will last approximately two hours so please take this time out to attend this special meeting.Some light refreshments will be available on the night.
On the following Thursday which is the 30th of October at 8pm we have another meeting for club members to discuss our finances and our membership rates etc going forward for the new 2015 season.
Don't forget our U-14 boys play in the County Final on Saturday the 25th of October in An Tochar against Bray Emmets at 3:45 pm.So please come out and support our Boys in Blue.
Our Club Jacpot stands at €3,150 and we urgently require more volunteers to help selling lotto Tickets and a big thank you to all those volunteers who did indeed sell extra lotto tickets over the past couple of weekends in various outlets in the town. Thank you also to all those parents who kindly gave their time for our annual Flag Day.Thank you for your kindness and time.
Congratulations to our very esteemed Club Couple Robert Hollingsworth and our very beautiful Donegal Queen Rebecca Watters who got married last week in Donegal. We wish you both every happiness together.
Thank you also to all our members who worked so hard during the Minor and senior football and hurling Chapionships and don't forget we still have a junior hurling championship final to play.
Our sincere condolences to the Manley Family on the passing of Mairead Manley.R.I.P sister of our esteemed club member John Dowling.

A big thank you also to Ms. Wilson and the transition students from the Dominican College who gave us a big hand during our Annual Flag Day.As we write these notes the ladies U-16 team have just won the County Final. Well done to all the players and Damian O Brien and his mentors. We will have a match report in next weeks notes.
