Well done to Amby Miley on his recent award. Amby won a gold medal for his Higher Level Leaving Cert project, from the Kildare & Wicklow branch of the Engineering Technology Teachers Association. His project, a model tumbler based on the vehicle from the Batman movie, will now go on to the National Competition. We wish him every success in the competition and in Waterford IT, his new home for the academic year.
The club are holding a race night on Bank Holiday Sunday 26th October in Leo's. Racecards are circulating with club members so if you fancy being a owner, trainer or jockey for the the night, €10 will secure your place on the card.
Congratulations to all who received their Junior Cert results recently.
The club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of club stalwart Patsy O'Brien who passed away at the weekend. Patsy played both football and hurling for the club for many years and was a regular fixture at games as a supporter and will be sorely missed by all.
