This weekend sees the Wicklow senior hurling championship semi finals take place.

Two interesting matches are down for decision as Bray Emmets take on Carnew Emmets and Glenealy face Avondale.

Fresh from their league success over Glenealy last weekend, Bray Emmets will be confident of beating a Carnew side that have yet to hit top gear in this year's campaign.

In the second match, Avondale are up against it against five-in-a-row chasing Glenealy, but the defending champions will have to be at their best to see off the challenge of this upcoming side.
