What a weekend for Rathnew GAA Club with our JunB's and Senior teams winning their respective semi-finals.On Saturday in Arklow our JunB team accounted for Tinahely while on Sunday our Senior team saw off Baltiglass's challenge for 2014. Well done to everyone involved, players,coaches,managers,kit men, the list goes on! To get a team into a County Final takes alot of effort from everyone. From the Chaiarman and Committe, those looking after the Clubhouse , looking after the grounds, making the tea/food,sponsors,physio,laundry dutys,patient wives/girlfriends, families and supporters in other words a whole Club working together. Roll on Oct 12th County Final Day with what could be a double header.

Rathnew Juvenile Club are hosting a 'Raffle' for All Ireland tickets. E10 to enter ,1st prize 2 tickets, 2nd prize 1 ticket. Tickets for draw available from Rocky's, Healy's, Rathnew House and Shay Doyles.Draw will take place Friday 19th Sept.

Big well done to 4 girls from our U12 Ladies Team. Zoe Byrne,Shelly Culbert,Sorcha Higgins and Leah Murphy who represented Wicklow in the U12 Blitz in Carlow.Our U12's play St Pats in the Sheild at Dunbur 20th Sept at 5.30pm.
