Rathnew GAA Club Annual Golf Classic for the 'Kevin Gill' Perpetual Trophy took place at Wicklow Golf Club last Saturday 16th August. Nearly 100 golfers took to the fairways. With good conditions it left it very tight on the leader board. With 3 partnerships recording 1st place with 48pts, but with the countback Ian Logan and Trevor Doyle were declared winners. 2nd Stevie and Rory Dowling, 3rd Paul Douglas and Ken Doyle all 48pts.4th Paul Collard and Aubrey Armstrong 47pts, 5th Ryan Dowling and John Clarke 46pts.6th Larry Devreaux and Pat Sheehy 45pts.7th Darren Ronan and Shamie O'Neill 44pts. Thanks to all our sponsors especially McCreas Funeral Home and Harry Webster Silver Strand Caravan Pk. Thanks to all our tee box sponsors and to Clifford Murphy for the burgers.
