Hollywood GAA Club Notes
July 28, 2014
HOLLYWOOD FAIR
Preparations for the Hollywood Fair 2014 are continuing. The Fair will take place on August 13th to August 17th and was formally launched at the recent Fashion Show in the Community Centre. The Fair Committee are looking for nominations for the King and Queen of the Fair. Work evenings take place every Wednesday in the village and all help is greatly appreciated.
HOLLYWOOD FIELD DAY
Many thanks to everyone in the community who helped out or supported the Hollywood Field Day on Sunday 13th July, in particular the ICA and parish for their efforts. The weather was lovely and a large crowd gathered to enjoy the family fun.
NEW SPONSORSHIP
Many thanks to Blessington Homes and John and Julie Traynor of Tutty's Bar and Lounge, Hollywood for the kind sponsorship of our new jerseys. The new home and away sets have made their debut in the Senior League and Championship and really look the part.

The green home jersey and the black away jersey will be available, subject to demand to meet the minimum quantities of the manufacturer.

[email protected] PITCH SIGNAGE
The Club are actively looking to reinvigorate the 'Pitch Signage' scheme. The scheme offers businesses the opportunity to erect an advertising sign along the pitch railing. We feel that the GAA facilities are used by a range of community members and the wider area and represent a good opportunity for advertising for local business. If anyone wishes to get more information, please contact Keith Burke or Seamus Tutty at 087 8264606.
JUVENILE COACHING
Coaching for our school going children including nursery continues every Thursday evening from 7pm to 8pm sharp.
ADULT FOOTBALL
Well done and thanks to all who helped out hosting the Kilbride v Valleymount and Stratford Grangecon v Baltinglass double header on Sunday evening in the field. No games for our adult teams this weekend but the next fixtures are confirmed. Our Junior 'B' side will face Tinahely on Saturday August 2nd in Baltinglass at 7pm in the Championship. The draw for the last 12 of the Senior Championship paired Hollywood versus Kiltegan. That fixture is likely to be the weekend of 8th/9th/10th August. Details to be confirmed.
