On Tuesday 15th 33 of our U8's together with coaches and parents travelled by bus to Croke Park for the Leinster U8 Go Games. We had two teams of 9 playing against St Cuthberts of Meath.
Given the numbers we had travelling most kids only played one half so that everyone could get a game. Both Blessington teams played extremely well and won both matches. Before the games the players and coaches viewed one of the dressing rooms. On the way home we stopped in McDonalds to feed all the hungry players. Overall it was a fantastic experience for all concerned. A team photo is available from www.hrphoto.ie for any parents who didn't get a copy on the day. We have two teams playing in a county blitz 6:30 Wednesday 23rd in Ballinakill.
