Juvenile notes
A busy week in Ballinakill for our U10 football and hurling teams as they took part in the Go Games blitzs. Two U10 football teams from Blessington GAA took part on Wed 15 Apr. Super performance and a great evening out. Our U12s played An Tochar at home on Mon 14 Apr and were beaten. Next up is St Pats at home on Tues 22 Apr at 7pm. Our U16s lost to AGB at home last Mon in Round 2 of the league on a scoreline of 4-15 to 2-05. Next match is May 2. Well done to Conal O'Gallchobhair, Jordan McGarr, Ethan Cotter and Eoin Higgins who represented the Blessington GAA on the Wicklow U14 football development squad in Ballinakill beating Wexford and losing out to Laois. Our Minors faced St Kevins at home on Sun 20 Apr. At half time Blesso led 1-05 to 1-04 but pulled away in second half to win by 3-14 to 3-05. Hard luck to Wicklow Minors who were heavily by Meath 3-18 to 1-6 on Sat 19 Apr in Navan in the first round of the Leinster Football Championship. Next up is Kilkenny away on Wed 30 Apr. Well done to Jack Gilligan, Mikey O Connor, Wacker O Connor, Jordan Nolan, Martin Shannon, Conor Kenny, Caolan Mc Gorman and Conor Ryan.

Hurling Notes
Our U10s took part in the hurling blitz in Ballinakill on Tues 15 Apr. A great night of hurling and well done to all who took part. On Wed 16 Apr in the U14 League Michael Dwyers 5-09 beat Arklow Rocks 2-09. Man of the match was Davey Phibbs from Blessington. U14 challenge away to Corrachoill Tues 22 Apr. Hurling Féile Sat 26 Apr in Ballinakill. 4 Blessington men involved - Davey Phibbs, Christopher Murphy, David Williamson and Kevin Quinn. Well done to David Williamson and Eoin Higgins (representing Michael Dwyers) who hurled for the U14 Wicklow County team beating Meath and narrowly losing to Carlow. This Fri 25 Apr Blessington host the U8/U10 hurling Go Games playing host to Dunlavin, St Kevin's and Stratford.

Senior Notes
Our seniors travelled to Bray on Fri 18 Apr where they overcame the home side with an excellent and hard fought victory by a margin of 3 points, 2-13 to 2-16. Man of the Match was Curtis Geraghty. Best of luck to our Intermediates who take on Coolboy in the league on Easter Monday at 3pm. All support welcome!

Our Junior C's beat Valleymount at home 3-15 to 0-02 on Thurs 17 Apr. Ian Richardson scored 2-06. ​Gerry Phibbs was Man of Match.

Our Senior Flag Weekend takes place on Sat 26 and Sun 27 Apr. Please support.
