Nolan can't wait for All-Ireland semi role

April 17, 2014
Wicklow referee Anthony Nolan will take charge of Saturday's All-Ireland U21 FC semi-final between Cork and Roscommon.

The Baltinglass man was told on Monday that he would be refereeing the match at Portlaoise and he is looking forward to a great game:

"It's unbelievable, I'm delighted," he says in The Wicklow People. "I'm really looking forward to it now. It should be a good game.

"I'm hearing a lot about both sides, so I can't wait.

"I'll prepare the same as any day. I'll go through some of the things with the lads and do one or two assessments.

"My team is always the same but unfortunately Donal O'Keeffe is away at the moment so I have one or two lads there ready to step in."
