Blessington club notes

April 14, 2014
Our club paid tribute to Cian Gardner who passed away on 2 April by providing a Gaurd of Honour of his U10 and U12 team mates at his funeral on Mon 6 Apr. Cian was an avid hurler and footballer and was presented with the Blessington GAA Hurler of the Year award only in Dec 2013 and he also participated in the Hurling U Can awards in Arklow in 2012. Cian will be sadly missed by our club and its young members. Our deepest sympathies to his parents Deirdre, Jason, brothers Ronan and Senan and sister Orlaith. Ar dheis Dé, go raibh a anam dilís.
