On the 1st April the U16 girl's started their league campaign with a very evenly contested game against St. Pat's. After an exciting game AGB eventually won out with a final score of

The U12 Div3 girls were out on Thursday the 3rd of April against Eire Og. Eire og used their height and experience very well in the first half and took scores from all angles. The girls put up a battling performance in the second half and outscored their opponents in this half. The final score was Eire Og 6-5 to AGB 2-4.

The U12 Div1 girls were out against Tinahely on Sunday the 6th. AGB started strongly with 2 goals and a point in the first 15 mins. Tinahely settled into the game to score 1-1 before the break. The second half was a different game. Tinahely came out a different team and took control of the game with 2 quick goals in as many minutes. Another point and a goal from Tinahely left AGB behind but the girls battled till the end and scored a late 1-1. The final score was AGB 3-2 Tinahely 4-2. Next game is on Thursday the 10th, against Bray in Bray.

The Minor Men took on Tinahely in Round 3 of the League also on Sunday. Results will be posted on website.

Croghan Climb

Back by popular demand, the Ladies and Juvenile Girls are once again organising a sponsored Croghan Climb on Sunday 27th April. This year the Boy's section are also joining the climb. Sponsorship cards will be given out during the coming week to all teams. The plan is to have a picnic on top of Croghan and have some spot prizes. It's a great event for anyone who wants to join in. So get a card and come along and join the fun. (Contact Mick Healy 087 2363603)

Scór

Well done to the quiz team (Margot Hughes, Kathryn Noone, Liam Cullen and Mick Healy) who represented the ladies section in the Wicklow Senior Scor final in the Glendalough hotel. After some tough rounds of questions Hollywood GAA Club came out on top. Best of luck to them in the All Ireland Final in Castlebar.
