Wicklow manager Davy Burke has revealed that he has sat down with the county board and the under-20 management to discuss the fixtures issue.
The aim of the meeting was to try and formulate a plan where the club and county could work in harmony; a situation that is not occurring in any county across the country.
Burke told the Wicklow People that the fixtures are an issue that need to be dealt with sooner rather than later.
“The load management is huge,” stressed the Kildare native. We had a meeting with the county board and under-20 management, just to make a plan, because the fixtures are a mess, to be honest with you.”
