Wicklow senior hurling manager Eamonn Scallan will remain in the role for the 2020 campaign.

Unlike the football manager’s position which has seen John Evans step down causing ructions at county board level, there has been no such problems with the Wexford native agreeing to stay on.

The Garden County had a decent campaign this year, winning the NHL 2B title and just missing out on a place in the Christy Ring Cup semi final due to score difference.

Scallan also unearthed some new talent this year and the future is bright for Wicklow hurling.

The backroom team has also been reappointed with Tom Darcy, John Keogh and Tom Mullally all remaining at the helm.
