Date for your diary – Blessington GAA night at the dogs at Newbridge on Fri 30 Nov 8pm. Sponsored by Dunnes Stores Blessington. €10 ticket will entitle you to entry on the night and for some great prizes also. Total prize fund €3600. First race at 8pm. Buster Draw One – 1st Prize €750, 2nd prize €400, 3rd Prize €200. Buster Draw two - 1st Prize €750, 2nd prize €400, 3rd Prize €200. 5 prizes of €100. You can nominate a dog for €50 which entitles you to entry to the dogs on the night and a prize of €100 if dog wins the race. Club AGM – Blessington GAA AGM on Mon 26 Nov in the Baile Coimin Centre at 7.30pm. Notice of AGM has been sent out by email. Anyone who is a member and hasn’t received an email please text Noreen on 0872858375 with their email address.

 

Scór na nÓg - The Scór na nÓg County Final will be held in St Kevin’s Hall in Blessington on Sun 18 Nov commencing at 3pm. As this is the 50th Year of Scór, we are aiming to increase the number of entries into each of the competitions. If there any singers, dancers, musicians or actors, please contact Noreen on 0872858375 or Catherine on 0871224019 if you are interested in participating asap. 

 

Fixtures

U20’s – Lads are up against Avondale at home on Sun 11 November at 2pm in the next round of the U20 championship.

U15’s - Blessington played Leixlip Sun 4 Nov at home in U15s Kildare league.  Leixlip U15s won well against a team of mostly U13s and 14s with 4 U15s prepping for next year’s U15s. The lads worked hard and played to the end. Training Wed. 7pm. Next up is away V St Laurences on Fri 9 Nov at 7:30pm.

Club physio - Physio is now finished on Weds. If you need any physio please contact Pat Molloy regarding any enquiries/emergencies on 0868230130.

Ladies 25 anniversary mugs, pens, wristbands, boot bags etc for sale. These will be collector’s items in a couple of years so make sure you get yours. Contact Jess on 0868602822.

Clothing Collection ongoing - collecting good quality second hand clothing suitable for re-use. Please fill as many black bin bags as you can – the more we collect, the more our club receives.
